It’s tough to stay motivated when things get tough. Whether you’re facing a difficult project at work or struggling to meet your fitness goals, it can be hard to keep going. But it’s important to stay motivated, especially when the going gets tough. Here are five tips that I use to help me stay motivated:
Find a role model:
When you’re struggling to stay motivated, it can be helpful to find someone who is motivation personified. Look for someone who is doing what you want to do and achieved what you want to achieve. Seeing someone else succeed at your goals can help inspire you to keep going.
Create a vision board:
A vision board is a collection of images and words that represent your goals and dreams. Creating a vision board can help you stay focused on what you want to achieve. And when you’re feeling demotivated, looking at your vision board can help remind you of why you’re working so hard in the first place.
Set small goals:
It’s easy to get overwhelmed when we’re trying to accomplish big goals. That’s why it’s important to break down your goals into smaller, more manageable pieces. When you’re feeling demotivated, the small wins can help keep you going.
Find a support group:
There’s nothing like having a group of people who are going through the same thing as you to help you stay motivated. Whether it’s an online community or a in-person meetup, find a group of people who will understand what you’re going through and can offer motivation and support.
Treat yourself:
Finally, don’t forget to treat yourself! When you’ve accomplished a goal, take some time to celebrate your success. And when you’re struggling to stay motivated, give yourself permission to take a break. You deserve it.”
